Building or re-building Alaska? Drennon Construction. On-time, on-budget.
Our Projects
Drennon Construction has spent the last 10 plus years working throughout the great state of Alaska, from Cordova to Galena to the Kenai and beyond. DCC has “been there and done that” from building our State and Federal parks in the Kenai’s, and Tangle lakes, and the interior, to dewatering and installing boat ramps in Cordova, and Fairbanks. DCC has a long history of taking on and completing the most difficult and challenging projects to help with our client’s needs and expectations. 2014 marked maybe the most special year for DCC yet, when we took on a very challenging yet rewarding project helping rebuild our local community of Galena, Alaska. Working with FEMA, the state of Alaska, and it’s management team (Lemay Engineering) DCC was contracted to raise, relocate, and install on 8 inch heliacal pile, 41 homes damaged by the Yukon river flooding in the spring of 2013. 31 of those homes were completed between June and October of 2014, with the remaining 10 homes slated for spring 2015 construction.

Learn MoreThe Drennon Team
Starting out in 2005 Drennon Construction provided services in support of the New Bassett Hospital on Fort. Wainwright, where the Drennon’s learned the value of both team work, and collaboration. Having only seen the contractor’s prospective, as most owners and construction managers have, now for the first time DCC and its employee’s were able to see the owners prospective as well. Working to support the Corps of Engineers, this duality would prove invaluable, and go on to serve both DCC and their future client base to this day. Also in 2005 we started the civil side with small commercial water, sewer, and improvement projects, DCC originally only had three man crew, but slowly would go on to build on that original team’s success. As the years passed DCC stayed vigilant to a hands on approach, were quality and pride of craftsmanship could be managed and nurtured. Today DCC still keeps that small family owned feel, with up to 20 plus craftsman now employed, DCC continues to look to the future for its next exciting challenge.
